Excerpt from Lesson:

Business, like any other field, has some specialist words that need to be understood for you to be able to do your work. Some of these words we’ve discussed in previous lessons. In this lesson we want to look at some of the specialized forms that you will have to understand before you get into business.

For things to go smoothly in your business all sales must be recorded. The normal method is to issue your customer a receipt when they pay. In the supermarket you have likely seen the receipt being printed by the cash register. A copy is given to the customer for their records and the cash register keeps a copy either on paper inside of the machine or stored in it’s computer memory.
