• Good communication skills cover both in-house and client communications

• Your communication with clients creates an image that reflects back on everyone and everything to do with your company

• Be willing to say, “I don’t know.”

• 5 similarities between the two types of communication: clear and coherent, consistent, accurate, thoughtful, reciprocal

• 1 major difference: the time factor for response
