Procedure:

Teachers may either print out the lesson and have students read it themselves, or use the lesson for your own lesson plan.

 

Students should complete the exercise at the end of the lesson.

Excerpt from Lesson:

There are lots of creative ways to make money part-time, with a little effort and imagination, and not much of an investment. Most of these ideas require very little money to start. Your only expenses might include transportation to and from your work location and basic supplies.

Things to think about when trying to come up with a business idea are:

What things do you already know how to do, that other people might pay you for?

What skills do you have that you could teach?
