Suggested Money Lesson Plan for this Worksheet

Teach your students how to correctly identify and count coins and the value of each coin type.

WORKSHEET Instructions

Have students place an "X" on the coins that add up to total the amount given.

This worksheet may be adjusted according to the skill level of your students.  For students just beginning counting money and counting coins, configure the worksheet to use only one type of coin (such as all pennies).  Then slowly add additional types of coins.  More advanced students may increase the number of coins, and also identify all types of coins.  Also, change to coin values or coin names, or reverse the coin value order.

Multiple currencies are available.  If you need a particular currency that is not available, please send us a suggestion by using the link at the bottom of this page.
