About Money Instructor

About Money Instructor

Teaching and learning about money — for over two decades.

Money Instructor has been a leading resource for financial education and skills development since 2002. We help educators, parents, students, and individuals teach and learn the money skills that matter in everyday life.

Our Mission

Our goal is to empower people to make informed financial decisions. We do that by publishing clear, practical resources on personal finance, money management, investing, business, and career skills — written for real life, not for the classroom alone.

When it comes to money, knowledge is the best currency. Whether you are introducing a child to coins for the first time or planning for retirement, we want the next step to feel a little less intimidating.

Who We Serve

Students writing at desks during class
  • Adults and families making everyday money decisions — budgeting, saving, retirement, Social Security, Medicare, taxes, insurance, and benefits.
  • Educators and parents teaching money skills to K–12 students, including special education, life skills, and adult education classrooms.
  • Students and new earners learning the basics of paychecks, banking, credit, and investing for the first time.
  • Professionals and institutions looking for reliable financial literacy materials to share with the people they serve.

The new Financial Topics section covers the everyday money decisions adults face — from Social Security and Medicare to saving, investing, credit and debt, insurance, taxes, housing, benefits, estate planning, and scams & fraud protection.

Our Teaching Resources section offers lessons, lesson plans, worksheets, interactive activities, instructional games, and articles for classroom and home use — from elementary money recognition all the way through high school personal finance and consumer math.

Modern Tools, Trusted Foundation

We continue to make use of new technologies, including artificial intelligence, to enhance the way we deliver financial literacy education — while keeping the same focus on clear, accurate, and approachable explanations that brought people here in the first place.
