Paydays: Gross and Net Pay in the Classroom Economy
Payday is what sets a classroom economy in motion. In this MoneyInstructor-nomics lesson, students receive their first paychecks for their classroom part-time jobs after a work-record conference, then watch classroom currency begin to change hands as they trade goods and services. It introduces the idea of earning pay for work and the flow of money through an economy.
