How It Works
Make a puzzle in four steps

- Size the grid. Eight to eighteen letters across and down.
- Set the difficulty. Diagonals on or off, backwards words on or off, capitals or lower case.

Do I need a membership to use this generator?
Yes — the generator is a full Money Instructor membership feature (the paid plan, not a free account). The page itself is free to read.
Can students be sent looking for a word that is not there?
No. The word list printed under the grid is the list of words that were actually placed. If a word will not fit the grid you chose, it is left off the list as well as out of the grid.
Can I use my own words?
Yes. Type them in Your own words, one per line or comma separated. Letters only — a word search cannot hide a hyphen or an apostrophe.
Is there an answer key?
Yes. Keep Include answer key on and the same grid prints with every hidden word shaded.
