What is on the time card worksheet?
A weekly time card with clock-in and clock-out times for each day. Students total the hours per day, find the week’s total, split regular vs overtime, and calculate the pay.
How does overtime work?
Hours over 40 in a week are paid as overtime at a higher rate (the overtime rate here is double the regular rate). Students find the regular hours, the overtime hours, and the pay for each.
Can I use minutes, not just whole hours?
Yes. Turn on Include minutes and the clock times use quarter hours (:00, :15, :30, :45) for tougher elapsed-time math. Leave it off for whole-hour times.
Can I set the pay rate?
Yes. Use a random rate on each card, or choose Fixed rate and enter the dollars per hour. You can also enter your own employee names.
