Procedure:
New Concept:
First time: Type first line slowly, with an easy pace. Strike each key quickly.
Second time: Faster pace, moving from key to key quicker.

Introduce new keys: n w (.)
Have students place their fingers in the home row position. Position fingers of the left hand on asdf and the right fingers on jkl;.
Have students locate the new keys on the keyboard. Let them watch their fingers as they reach up to the w with left third finger, and the n with right first finger and the < .> by reaching down with the right third finger. Space twice after (.) at the end of a sentence. Try these together as a class:
